The brick trend is still alive and well in Interior Design.
When I first moved to Montreal, one of my colleagues (who eventually became my best friend – an this may be why) moved into this amazing condo with exposed brick and high ceilings. I fell madly in love with the look and have been a fan ever since. So seeing the trend still in Interior Design has got me a bit excited.
So what are some of my favourite looks? Definitely he reddish-brown brick mixed with white. Throw in some black accents and you’ve got a chic room. But I also enjoy the darker looks. Both are very Industrial, rather than Rustic I find.
If you follow me on Instagram (@rekreateddesign) you may have seen some of these images this week already for my “Daily Design Inspiration”. If you don’t follow me yet – start now! 😉
So here are some other great images that I love.
A bright living space
Bold bathroom
An industrial kitchen
You actually rent this place in New York…
Simply wow
I know I said 5, but I had to throw in a bonus image…
As I mentioned, you can head on over to my Instagram page (@rekreateddesign) for even more inspiring exposed brick images. It is still one of my favourite interior accents and its nice to see so much of it here in Montreal.
If you have this accent in your home, take advantage of it for a cool, urban look but using some of the images above or others found online. If you need any help, let me know!
