I recently had the opportunity to swap my Apple Watch for a Wood Watch from JORD.

While my Apple Watch is more than just a watch for me, I was also in need of something that I could wear out with the girls, or on a date night with the hubby. A sporty wrist often didn’t match well with a sleeker attire.

The watch arrived in pristine condition in such beautiful packaging. I’m a huge fan of products that leave a lasting impression, from its packaging to customer service – so JORD was already off to a good start in winning me over.

Before actually trying on a wood watch, I was so worried that it wouldn’t suit me. Perhaps it would be too rustic or natural for my style. But the wood used was amazing. As you can see, the colours are beautiful, there is just the right amount of contrast in the grain to give it dept but not be too obvious. The shape and size are perfect, and, it was so light that I forgot I was even wearing it.

And the cool thing is that because its made of wood, no two watches will look exactly the same! The wood grain will always vary, allowing you to create your own unique look.

Final verdict – I’m digging this earthy fall trend from JORD. And the cool thing is, that they aren’t crazy expensive. Especially considering the material and precision.
