Happy International Women’s Day

Hello all my gorgeous ladies and gentlemen.  We are waking up to an important annual event – International Women’s Day.

March 8th is “a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity” (www.internationalwomensday.com).  Some people may call me a feminist, because I think women’s rights is very important issue and equality should be inherent.  However, for me, its equal opportunity for all.  So even more than a feminist, I associate with anyone fighting for equal rights.

However, today is a day to focus on gender equality.  It’s something that I don’t see happening fast enough, especially in business.  But we can’t sit idly by and wait for it to happen, we have to take the initiative to make it happen.  So in honour of this day, I have pulled together some inspiring quotes to motivate women to take control of their destiny and move us towards more equality in all aspects.
