Is E-Design Right for You?

Many of you have perhaps heard of E-Design recently and may wonder what it is, and/or how it works.  Is it the right solution for your needs as a client, if you are looking to revamp a space?

Well, I’m here to tell you that E-Design can be for anyone, and it can actually be a better solution for some people.

People who have a busy lifestyle with limited time to meet with an Interior Designer in person, may find that working with a Designer virtually is a preferred option.

It can also be quicker, as you are not waiting for the best time to meet, that work with both schedules.  So if you are a person who wants to have a design, on your time, fitting your schedule and that you can execute yourself or with your own preferred contractor, this is the solution for you.  Need some help with the execution, the designer can also get you in touch with local contractors for any building or construction or place all the orders for you to be delivered to you.

If you are a renter, you are obviously limited with what you can do with a space in terms of the architecture of the space.  In this case, E-Design could be the perfect solution for you, as re-vamping your space will be done mostly with moveable furniture and accessories, as opposed to built-ins or other changes that require super accurate measurements and contractors.

Or you may simply prefer to work with someone virtually.  You can do pretty much anything online these days, why not redesign your space?  With my limited time, I often resort to ordering almost anything online – including my wine… 😉  And even working with clients, suppliers, and companies I’m collaborating with – sometime I prefer e-mail communication as I can answer questions at anytime, very quickly – and EVERYTHING is documented.  So if I’m missing piece of information, I can just go back to my e-mails to check if I have the info or if it was discussed, prior to contacting the person and looking disorganized.
